This video footage and these images show the aftermath of a Russian missile attack on Kramatorsk railway station in the Donetsk Oblast in the East of the country, where thousands of peaceful Ukrainians were waiting to be evacuated on Friday morning (08April2022). According to the Ukrainian government, at least 39 people died, and around 100 were injured in the attack, which reportedly was from a strike from a Tochka U missile. Police and rescuers swiftly on the scene. In a post on the Telegram app, Ukraine???s President Volodymyr Zeleskyy called wrote: ??sRussian non-humans do not abandon their methods. Lacking the strength and courage to stand up to us on the battlefield, they are cynically destroying the civilian population. This is an evil that has no limits. And if it is not punished, it will never stop.??? More refugees have begun to flee cities in Eastern Ukraine following government advice to do so ahead of an expected renewal of Russian offensives in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. In their own Telegram post, Russia???s Ministry of Defence denied responsibility for the attack.
