Ukraine, Natacha immigrated to her own country 16th of january 2017 For two years now in Kiev, in Froliska Street, a center has been opened to help the refugees from Donbass. Natacha is one of the many volunteers in the center, she is also a refugee. In November 2014, it had to flee precipitously from Donetsk, because Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian separatists were engaged in a war, which despite attempts to agree on peace and ceasefire, is still ongoing. With her husband Sacha and his son Taraski they found refuge in the capital where they thought life would be easier and work more abundant. Upon arrival they were welcomed by friends, they recognize that not everyone has had this chance experiencing much more precarious situations. They are now installed in former offices belonging to the city of Kiev, hastily transformed into collective apartments. Forty-one people live together, 16 adults and 25 children, all from Donetsk or Lugansk. Sharing a common past, strong ties were created, all left behind relatives, family and friends, some remained in the area of conflict and other parties to Russia. Few of them managed to find a stable job, Natacha had this chance, her husband is unemployed, they didn???t ever receive any help from the central government. Despite their precarious situation they are optimistic, their dreams are still intact, but they know that their future will be far from Donetsk, they have accepted the idea that the political situation will not move in the right direction.
