A destroyed cultural palace, which was a church before the Soviet era, in the heavily destroyed village of Oleksandrivka, Ukraine, on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023. Oleksandrivka, a settlement in the Kherson region that had a pre-war population of around 2,000, became a front line between Ukrainian and Russian forces, and only 16 residents remained in the village through a nearly eight-month occupation by Russian forces.
