A Tengananese man suffers cuts to his back neck after fighting in the pandanus war ritual. Annually the villagers of Tenganan Pagringsingan in Island of Bali celebrate Usabha Sambah a ceremony to worship God Indra, the god of war. One of the famous ritual during the ceremony is Mekare-kare, an unique ritual where men fight each other using thorny pandanus leaves as a weapon.
