(NYT61) NEW ORLEANS -- Nov. 3, 2005 -- NEW-ORLEANS-WORKERS -- Laborers from North Carolina who camped out at New Orlean's City Park, take a siesta from working, Oct. 22, 2005. Camps for out-of-state workers cleaning up after the flood are appearing in the city as the recovery effort from Hurricane Katrina continues. Workers from all over have been pouring into Louisiana, some bused in by contracting companies, others simply turning up on their own in search of jobs. (Ting-Li Wang/The New York Times)
