(NYT26) BEIRUT, Lebanon -- Feb. 14, 2005 -- LEBANON-BOMB-8 -- Lebanese military and plainclothes police cordon off the area around HSBC (British Bank) headquarters which was damaged by a car bomb that killed former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik al-Hariri, Monday, Feb. 14, 2005 in Beirut. the car bomb, which exploded as Hariri's motorcade made its way along Beirut's waterfront, also killed six of his bodyguards.
