(NYT2) UNDATED -- April 12, 2005 -- WINE-ALCOHOL -- Wine with high alcohol content being served. Today, it's the rare bottle from California, red or white, that doesn't reach 14 percent alcohol. Many now hit 15 percent and even 16 percent. The difference between a 12 percent bottle and a 15 percent bottle may seem insignificant, but that 15 percent bottle contains 25 percent more alcohol.
