(NYT38) TEL AVIV, Israel -- June 23, 2004 -- ISRAEL-PHOTOS-2 -- Micha Kurz, 21, one of a group of Israeli soldiers who just ended their mandatory army service in Hebron, after being interogated by the Israeli army and police, at the "Breaking the Silence" exhibition in Tel Aviv, Israel, Wednesday, June 23, 2004. "Breaking the Silence" features photos taken by Israeli soldiers during their military service in the Palestinian southern West Bank city of Hebron. The Israeli army interrogated five reserve soldiers who set up the exhibit giving vivid accounts of abuse and harassment of Palestinians in Hebron, a day after the army and police raided the exhibit, and confiscated an album of newspaper clippings and a videotape of testimony from more than 70 soldiers.
