(NYT10) BAGHDAD, Iraq -- March 2, 2003 -- IRAQ-U.N. -- Chief scientific advisor to Iraqi President Saddam Hussein Amer al-Saadi speaks to the press in Baghdad Sunday March 2, 2003. Al-Saadi expressed his opinion that Iraq has cooperated with the UN demands. Iraq scrapped a second batch of banned missiles on Sunday and Turkey held up the Pentagon's battle plans, handing more ammunition to France and other countries opposed to any U.S.-led rush to war against Baghdad.
