(NYT3) CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. -- Feb. 16, 2003 -- MICROSOFT-APPLE-EDUC -- In a proposed settlement of the Microsoft antitrust suit, the company would be required to distribute more than $1 billion in vouchers for the public to purchase software. Because two-thirds of the vouchers would be handed to schools, the move could have a tremendous impact on the educational computing market.
