(NYT38) VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Feb. 21, 2003 -- RUSSELL-HAWN-7 -- It made news when actors Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn purchased their $3 million 7,000-square-foot house in a quiet, leafy neighborhood in North Vancouver. Russell, who said he would be happy in a treehouse as long as he could drive the kind of boat, car or airplane he wanted (he is a licensed pilot), seems at ease with Hawn's decor. "Friends come in and say, 'Boy, you can see Goldie's input here,"' he said. "They mean, 'Boy, did she run the show and you didn't have much to do with it." Russell in the couple's Tudor-style house in Vancouver. (Lara Swimmer/The New York Times) STORY MOVED 2/19/03
