(NYT46) LA MONTANITA, Colombia -- Feb. 20, 2003 -- COLOMBIA-REBELS -- Just north of the Colombian village of La Montanita, some 2,500 Colombian troops are combing the jungles for three American government workers kidnapped by Marxist rebels last week when their plane crash-landed after encountering engine trouble. Residents of La Montanita, Colombia, Tuesday, February 18, 2003 at the funeral of two women killed when rebels attacked the police station. "You live in fear," a neighbor of one of the women said.
