(NYT14) NACOGDOCHES, Texas -- Feb. 9, 2003 -- SHUTTLE-DEBRIS-SEARCH -- Robert W. Nailon, foreground with backpack containing GPS equipment, a wetlands scientist from Houston, searched for debris from the space shuttle Columbia, in a wooded area along with other volunteers, about 20 miles west off Route 21 between Nacogdoches and St. Agustine, Texas, Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003.
