16.02.2005 Izrael , Jerozolima From R-L Ophir Pines Interior Minister, Simon Peres, PM Sharon, Deputy PM Ehud Ulmert The Knesset passed the enabling legislation for the disengagement plan by a large majority of 59-40, with five abstentions. The votes in favor of the evacuation-compensation law came from Labor, Shinui, Yahad, One Nation and 18 Likud MKs, while the votes against came from the National Union, the National Religious Party, Shas and 17 Likud MKs.
