(NYT38) NEW YORK -- July 10, 2002 -- MEMORIAL-MAINTENANCE -- Members of the Citywide Monuments Conservation Program applied an anti-corrosive lacquer to the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch at the Grand Army Plaza in Brooklyn, Wednesday. The team was working on it's thirrd and final day of maintenance on what happens to be the largest scultptural grouping in New York, second only to the Statue of Liberty.
