Ali, who fled Aleppo, Syria, eventually arriving on Lesbos, breaks down during a medical visit as he suddenly and emotionally refers to personal trauma he is suffering from his experiences in Syria at the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) field clinic Tuesday, Feb. 5, 2019, at their facility just outside the Moria refugee camp in Lesbos, Greece. Picked up by Greek Coast Guard while at sea in the Aegean, and now four months in the Moria refugee camp run by the Greek government, his visit to the MSF field clinic brought him a referral for physiological help after a doctor realized his need for more than a medical appointment. MSF issued a statement in late 2018 saying that Moria was in a state of emergency, specifically referring to the mental health of the occupants, and is working to evaluate and serve those in need psychological services.
