ALASKA HILARIOUS images of two 150-pound brown bear cubs playing tug-of-war with their mum for a piece of salmon were captured in Alaska.
The mum had just caught a fish and brought it over to share with her cubs.
The growing cubs require full-size meals and lots of food, and they aren’t shy about tucking in.
These cubs are now three years old, so it’s almost time for them to separate from mum.
Taylor Thomas Albright, a wildlife photographer from Fairbanks, USA, captured these comical wrestling images of brown bears.
“I was thrilled to have captured these shots. It was great to see the mother bear still teaching and helping to provide for her cubs,” he told mediadrumworld.com.
“I love how big the cubs look; at first glance, it’s difficult to differentiate who the mother is.”
“The mother will kick out the two cubs in less than six months, and they will be on their own.
“I’m fascinated by their close relationship and how the dynamics between wild animals change so quickly.
“I’m curious how they will interact when they come in close contact with each other for the first time after separating.
“Do they tolerate the other's presence? Do they argue in an attempt to show dominance? Potentially attempt to move one another out of the area. It would be wonderful to document that.”
