The fox cubs share a kiss, AMSTERDAMSE WATERLEIDINGDUINEN, NETHERLANDS, THE CUTEST images of four-week old red fox cubs sharing a kiss have been captured.
Images show the fox cubs playing together and attempting to do piggyback rides, having a well earned snack from mum and then sharing a sweet kiss.
These tender moments were captured by photographer and Graphic Designer Pascal Maranus (37) from Aagtekerke, The Netherlands, who spoke about the adorable foxes with mediadrumworld.com
Pascal captured the kissing cuties at Amsterdamse Waterleidingduinen, Netherlands on his Sony A7R V + Sony 400mm f/2.8.
“As a moment, the two touching noses was definitely my favourite,” said Pascal.
“To say I was excited would be an understatement. It was also just a few days before my birthday, so it felt like an early birthday present.
“A friend had heard of a spot where foxes were spotted with new pups. As we walked over, we saw a group of photographers already at the scene, so we knew we were in the right place.
“Because these foxes are so used to having people around, they're not scared easily. You can move over for a better angle or better light without it resulting in them running off.
“The pups were hiding in their den, while their parents were out hunting.
“During our time there, the mother returned a few times, once with a bird in her mouth and once with an egg. When she got back, the pups would also come out, providing the opportunity to take some cute photos of them playing and drinking.
“It was my first time seeing them so close by and photographing them.
“Any time there are baby animals involved, it just creates a new dynamic. And it's also something we as people can relate to.”
