In the City of the Dead in Cairo, people live their lives amidst the halls and rooms containing tombs and graves. The Muslim tombs and graves are primarily occupied by the remains of actors and other famous figures from the past. Residents of this "cemetery city" take care of these graves in exchange for a place to live. However, the city is slowly deteriorating, and its inhabitants are increasingly anxious about their future.
The current concern is that these residents are deeply afraid of losing their homes, as the government is reportedly starting to destroy parts of the area.
