Masajowie eksmitowani ze swoich terenów - Redux
Cows rest as dawn slowly makes its way across this Maasai boma overlooking the Ol Doinyo Lengai volcano in Lake Natron, Tanzania, on March 7, 2024. Known by the Maasai as “the Mountain of God,” this active volcano is part of the East African Rift and produces a sodium and potassium rich lava that is silver in color. The Tanzanian government plans to extend the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and wildlife corridor to bordering villages in Ngorongoro, Longido and Moduli districts, which would forcibly displace communities like this from their homes.
