Woman, 29, finds love with ANOTHER older person after divorce from wife, 66
A woman who made headlines after marrying and divorcing someone 37 years her senior has found love again – with another older person.
Julia Zelg, 29, announced her separation from her wife, Eileen de Freest, 66, earlier this year, after meeting on Tinder and tying the knot in 2019.
The London-based singer had tried an open marriage with her former spouse in recent months but called time on their controversial romance in March.
Sharing her latest news in “the most special video ever”, influencer Julia introduced grandfather Keith to her followers.
The couple met in Julia’s local Pret a Manger in Kensington and bonded over their shared interest in Chelsea football club reports What's The Jam.
The duo met a few times for coffee before attending football matches together, and became “good friends” before things progressed romantically.
Keith, who did not share his age, has two adult children and two grandchildren, all of whom Julia has met.
She said: “I was a bit worried because I’ve never dated anyone who had kids before.
“I was a little bit scared that they weren’t going to like me, but I met them and they are both so lovely, and super sweet.
“I met them [the grandchildren] too, they are super cute.
“I was really excited because I have step-grandchildren now.”
Keith, who owns a tech company, added: “You never thought you’d say that, did you?”
Julia responded: “Not so early in my life, no.”
The new couple revealed that, as Julia and Eileen are still friends, Keith has met Julia’s former spouse several times and they “get on fine”.
Keith – a self-confessed ‘boomer’ – describes himself as an “open minded person” who is “mainly straight” but with a “touch of bisexuality”.
