Two inspectors look at the severely damaged United Airlines 747 at Honolulu Airport, Feb. 26, 1989. A gaping hole ripped open in the fuselage of the 747 at 20,000 feet during its flight from Honolulu, Hawaii to New Zealand. The sudden decompression sucked out several rows of seats, killing nine passengers. The plane managed to return to Honolulu. (AP Photo/Randy Fujimori)
