A completed 787 Dreamliner jet stands ready for pickup by AIR INDIA at the Charleston, SC facility. Boeing?s South Carolina facility fabricates, assembles and installs systems for aft fuselage sections of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner and joins and integrates midbody fuselage sections from other structural partners. With the new, 1.2-million square-foot (111,483 m2) Final Assembly and Delivery facility, Boeing will perform final assembly and deliver 787s from South Carolina to customers around the world.
