Here are three pitching shots of Carl Erskine Dodger pitcher and hero of the fifth World Series game as he pitched the National Leaguers to a 6-5 win over the World Champion Yankees. Erskine allowed the Yankees but five hits, four of which came in the fifth inning when they scored all five of their runs, Oct. 5, 1952 in New York. After the fifth frame Erskine retired 19 consecutive batters getting Yogi Berra on a called third strike to end the game. (AP Photo)
