Stewart Donnelly, alleged international-known swindler, is photographed on board the S.S. Washington when he was brought back from Paris in the custody of detectives in New York, May 3, 1934. Donnelly denied that he had swindled James Kennedy of New York, out of $16,000 in 1931. It was on this charge that he was extradited from France. He also denied having any connection with the Lindbergh case, as recently rumored in some circles. (AP Photo)
