Angola - Luanda - Noor Images
Angola, Luanda, 05 January 2010 An amputee begs on the streets of the Angolan capital Luanda. Since the end of Angola's three decades of civil war in 2002, the country has enjoyed unprecedented economic growth thanks to it's massive oil reserves. But while the country has gained international recognition for its rapidly expanding economy, two thirds of its population continue to live on less than two dollars a day and, by some accounts, has the highest infant mortality rate in the world.
