Policemen inspect the scene outside the Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam next to a ladder, believed to have been used by thieves, Saturday, 07 December 2002. Two paintings of the famous Dutch impressionist Vincent Van Gogh were stolen overnight from the museum which features the world's biggest collection of Van Gogh's work.
