Swedish police searching the area of Sodra Hammarbyhamnen in Stockholm, Sweden late 22 December 2000, where a small boat, seen in the picture, believed to have been used by art thieves during an armed coup at The National Museum Friday night. Police searched fruitlessly 23 December, 2000, for the thieves who stole three valuable paintings by Rembrandt and Renoir from the waterfront museum. The paintings were valued at several million dollars by museum officials.
