Hospital facilities in the locality near the Sundarbans are almost none. To get immediate aid after tiger attacks requires river ambulance services as well as emergency medical facilities around the forest. A kabiraj (village doctor) named Sushil Kumar Mondol claimed that he saved 141 tiger attack victims through out his life time.
