After a first selection and after being boiled and mortified, they release all their flavors. Then, the pods are gathered into small booties. C'est dans cette region au nord de l'ile que pousse la plus belle vanille du monde. De la famille des orchidees, c'est une plante delicate et exigeante. La "vanille verte" est recoltee chaque annee r partir de juin. Aprcs un premier tri, et aprcs avoir ete ebouillantees et mortifiees liberant ainsi tous leurs ar?mes, les gousses sont rassemblees en petit botillons.
