(NYT91) MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Aug. 1, 2007 -- MINN-BRIDGE-COLLAPSE-2 -- Rescue workers gather near the Interstate 35W bridge, an interstate highway bridge in downtown Minneapolis, which stretches between Minneapolis and St. Paul, after it collapsed and dropped more than 60 feet into the Mississippi River during evening rush hour, Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2007.
