(NYT41) FLINT, Mich. -- June 8, 2006 -- UAW-FUTURE-2 -- Rick Yrlas, a 51-year-old auto worker in Flint, Mich., arriving at the GM Flint Truck and Bus Assembly plant, early in the morning of Tuesday, May 16, 2006. For union members like Yrlas, a decision is looming. As the UAW heads into its national convention next week, workers are making their final decisions on whether to accept up to $140,000 to leave GM, and allow the company to restructure in a more-efficient way than if it stuck to the letter of the union contract.
