(NYT20) BRIDGEHAMPTON, N.Y. -- March 3, 2005 --VACATION-HOME-BROKERS-3 -- Stanley Blum at the Helen Battistoni Real Estate office in Rhinebeck, N.Y., in Feb. 2005. Four days a week, Blum lives in New York City, where he paints and writes poetry. Come Thursday night, he and his wife, June, a psychoanalyst, are on their way up the Hudson to Rhinebeck where, since 1982, they've owned a Victorian farmhouse. While June busies herself with historic preservation and visits friends, Blum, a retired shoe representative, goes to work selling weekend homes to people very much like himself.
