(NYT71) UNDATED -- February 11, 2005 -- TAX-STAMP-AUCTION-2 -- The only 1-7/10-cent wine revenue stamp in known to be in existence, referred to in the philately world as RE182D, and valued at $25,000 are part of 20th-century American history that will be auctioned for the first time on Saturday in New York, when the National Postal Museum, part of the Smithsonian Institution, sells some 35,000 examples of ornate and colorful revenue stamps.
