(NYT5) BAGHDAD, Iraq -- Oct. 7, 2003 -- IRAQ-3 -- Shiite Muslims face off against U.S. forces standing down the street, Monday, Oct. 7, 2003 in Baghdad. Across the city, U.S. solders were met with a demonstration by Shiite Muslims after closing a mosque and allegedly arresting the imam.
