(NYT73) NEW YORK -- March 7, 2003 -- BROADWAY-STRIKE-3 -- Broadway went dark Friday night when actors and stagehands voted to honor a strike by the musicians over how many of them should be employed in each theater's orchestra pit. After Actors' Equity agreed to honor the musicians strike, actor Harvey Fierstein of the play "Hairspray", left, joined the musicians on the picket line in front of the Neil Simon Theater where the musical "Hairspray" is playing.
