(NYT34) BEIT SAHUR, West Bank -- Feb. 18, 2003 -- ISRAEL-WOMEN-ARRESTS -- The news broadcast over Israeli radio Tuesday morning, Feb. 18, 2003, was stunning: The Israeli army had arrested three women in Beit Sahur, West Bank, calling them terrorists primed for suicide bombings. But even as the reports were still being broadcast, the Christian suspect, Fida Misleh, 23, was already back home. Her father, Khalil Misleh, a gardener in a convent in Beit Sahur, had been taken in and released with her. Fida Misleh and her father Khalil Misleh in Beit Sahur Tuesday.
