(NYT35) NEW YORK -- Feb. 9, 2003 -- NY-FASHION-MEN -- Ever since the music impresario Sean Combs attached his enterprise to the world of fashion, it has been clear that his last will and testament is unlikely to contain a codicil directing large sums of money to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. Typically, Combs' runway spectacles have left one wondering if he had secured possession of every last chinchilla in the Andes. But aside from a position on fur that seems more Liberace, say, than Susan Sarandon, Combs' political views have not been easy to determine. His fall 2003 Sean John show at Cipriani on Saturday night provided little in the way of illumination.
