(NYT37) BAZE, Iraq -- Feb. 4, 2003 -- KURDS-IRAQ-FLOATER -- Basne Ali Muhammad, who said she was about 80, used a roller on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, to tamp down the soil on the roof of her house in the village of Baze, in the Kurdish area of northern Iraq.
