(NYT22) NEW YORK -- Feb. 21, 2003 -- Adv. for Sun., Feb. 23 -- INVESTING-WITH-PRINDLE -- Good corporate citizens are good investments, say Janet Prindle and Arthur Moretti, co-managers of the $90 million Neuberger Berman Socially Responsive fund. In the fund's eyes, good citizenship can mean helping protect the environment, promoting workplace diversity and offering employee benefits like flexible work schedules and on-site day care. The fund shuns companies that produce tobacco, alcohol, weapons and nuclear power. Prindle, left, and Moretti in their office in New York on Feb. 19, 2003. (G. Paul Burnett/The New York Times)
