FOR SUN., DEC. 1, 2002 -- THEATER-PAUL-NEWMAN -- Thornton Wilder's "Our Town," opens on Wednesday on Broadway at the Booth Theater in Manhattan, where Joanne Woodward is artistic director, and her husband Paul Newman stars as the Stage Manager who narrates the play. The production could mark Newman's final performance on Broadway, since it took him nearly 40 years to come back.Woodward and Newman outside the Westport Country Playhouse in Connecticut in November.
