(NYT15) HOLLYWOOD, Calif. -- Nov. 10, 2002 -- HOLLYWOOD-STAR-POLISHER -- John Peterson, who flopped out on the Hollywood Boulevard about four years ago, took to polishing the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for spare change. One day, Kerri Harrington Morrison, the director of the Hollywood Entertainment District, bought him lunch and arranged for Peterson to work as the official star cleaner.
