SR2 has a central computer, programmed with detailed maps of the museum buildings. It travels on 3 wheels using an ultrasonic navigation system and collision-avoidance system. Its detectors give warnings of smoke, fire, and increases of humidity or gases. It can detect movement and warn of an intruder.
