The 6th Field Artillery Regiment is an Field Artillery regiment of the U.S. Army first formed in 1907. In June 1917 they were assigned to the 1st Expeditionary Division and were organized with 2 battalions. During WWI they took part in the following campaigns: Montdidier-Noyon, Aisne-Marne; St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne; Lorraine 1917, Lorraine 1918, and Picardy 1918.
