Naqsh-e Rostam, or picture of Rostam, (Persian mythical hero, similar to Hercules), is among the most stunning ancient sites of the world, and includes giant 2500-year old cross-shape tombs, engraved in stone. The four tombs, from left to right, belong to these Achaemenid Persian kings: Darius II , Artaxerxes I, Darius I, and Xerxes I. The scene is even serene at night, here with stars of Perseus and Pleiades above them.
