This 'Plan of the Action' which happened June 17th, 1775 at Charles Town North America depicts the first premeditated battle of the American Revolution. This manuscript map was done in ink and watercolor. This rough sketch map of the disposition of British troops and supporting naval craft and of the movement of the American provincial irregulars (the Rebel Army) at Bunker Hill was drawn shortly after the siege by the aide-de-camp of the English commander General William Howe.
