Marking May 1st, Bjelovar motorcyclists preserved the tradition and held the international Budnica, unique in the world, which they have cherished since the 30s of the last century when it was known as May Day Budnica. Motorists in Bjelovar mark the International Labor Day with an early morning ride through the city streets from 5 to 7 a.m.. This year's Budnica was a record with over 1,200 motorcyclists, who drove a route of 45.2 kilometers through the city streets and suburban settlements..
