Germany's "old lady" of erotic, 78-years-old Beate Uhse, smiles as she holds the "Venus '97" award of the German Erotic industry, which she was presented early 07 December morning 1997 at a gala in Berlin. The prize was given to her as a lifetime- achievement award. Beate Uhse, the founder of the "Beate Uhse" erotic mail order company who is not only seen as successful businesswoman of the erotic industry, is regarded a pacemaker of the "sexual revolution" and sexual education in Germany after the war. The "Venus '97" awarding was a highlight event at the end of a four-days erotic fair in Berlin.
