White-helmet Czechoslovakian riot policemen march forward in unison, each holding a baton with their hands thrust forward 28 October 1988 at Wenceslas Square in downtown Prague during a major anti-government and anti-communist demonstration on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the then Czechoslovakia. The police used dogs, water cannons and tear gas to disperse several thousand people demonstrating in Prague.
