Queen Elizabeth II laughs with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, oldest son, Prince Charles, daughter-in-law, Sophie, Countess of Wessex and other members of the Royal family as they watch a parade in The Mall as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations. *... of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II. Earlier the Queen had travelled to St Paul's Cathedral for a service of thanksgiving and attended a banquet in her honour at Guildhall. The parade, which lasted more than three hours, included bands from the Notting Hill Carnival, voluntary service personnel, children from the Chicken Shed Theatre Company, and a series of living rooms reflecting the five decades of her reign. After it finished the Royal family was expected to appear on the balcony and watch a flypast.
